Sarah S. Matinfar's practice includes estate planning, fiduciary, estate, trust and conservatorship litigation, conservatorships, and estate administration. She drafts estate planning documents, including family succession planning, charitable giving and insurance trusts; prepares and files legal pleadings and accountings for conservatorships; litigates trust and estate matters, including extensive discovery; handles probate proceedings; manages all aspects of cases from inception through completion; and assists clients in resolving family disputes.
Sarah received her B.A. in 2004 from University of California, Berkeley, in Political Science, where she was a recipient of the Arnold S. Nelson Scholarship for academic excellence in 2000- 2004. She earned her J.D. in 2008 from Southwestern Law School where she received the Southwest Law School Scholarship for 2005-2007. She was also an Alternate Oralist in the Southwest Law School Annual Intramural Moot Court Competition in 2006.
During law school, Sarah served as law clerk to the Honorable Aviva K. Bobb, then Presiding Judge of the Probate Court. In addition, prior to serving as Judge Bobb's law clerk, Sarah clerked for County Counsel in the Probate Department.
Sarah is fluent in Farsi and basic Spanish.
